The chief and director of the Pharmacy Department of Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, New York, Babak Bamdad oversees all aspects of pharmacy operations in accordance with state and federal regulations. He also handles a wide range of administrative functions, including the hiring, orientation, monitoring, scheduling, and evaluation of pharmacy personnel. Before assuming this leadership position in 2010, Babak Bamdad served briefly as a night pharmacist in charge with Lincoln Hospital. An active member of the field, he holds membership in the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and the Association of Clinical Research in the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Outside of the professional arena, Babak Bamdad enjoys playing games of strategy, such as poker and chess, as well as getting outside to hike and garden. He gives back to the local community by donating art supplies and specific care packages to children at a local homeless shelter. Mr. Bamdad also helps disseminate the tenets of traditional Judaism as a supporter of multiple Chabad houses.
